Wow...18 months old, our precious little baby is transitioning into a beautiful little girl. Ashlynn loves to play outside; we've spent lots of time this summer visiting different parks, the zoo, and playing in the water (pool, cottage, and Lake Michigan). Ashlynn absolutely loves the "wa-wa!" Ashlynn is talking quite a bit, she says 50+ words and has started to say short phrases like "Here you go" "Where's Daddy?" and "I see a baby." It is amazing to watch her speech develop and we are loving that she can communicate her wants and needs with us! She is becoming a social little thing and says "hi" and "bye" to everyone and everything (like the animals at the zoo or the bath water as it drains out). At her 18 month appointment Ashlynn weighed 22 lbs, 12 oz (27th percentile) and measured 33 inches long (87th percentile). We feel truly blessed to have such an amazing little girl in our lives!
