The first Saturday in September definitely felt like fall. The temperature was cold in the morning (50's), and we decided to buddle up in our fall clothes and head to the zoo. The animlas must like the cooler weather too because they were all out and active- even the big brown bear (who I've never seen do anything but sleep) was up. The polar bears put on quite the show- it was fun to watch them play above and below water in the underwater viewing. Ashlynn had an awesome time too- but her favorites are still the monkeys & gorillas.
